Elmisch and Miriam married on the 10th of May this year and it was amazing from beginning to end. 7,5 year ago they fell in love and they now also have a gorgeous little girl named Jada.
After shooting their Lovebirds shoot I simple knew that their wedding day was going to be amazing....and I was so right!
Liesbeth was my second shooter for the day(who did an awesome job!) and she went to Elmisch as I went to Miriam to take the first shots of them getting dressed. When I arrived I heard that poor little Jada was sick with the chicken-pocks and she was not feeling well at all. Luckily after getting some medications she was back to her old self again. Miriam's mom and sisters helped her getting dressed and dad helped putting on the gorgeous pink shoes.
Miriam forgot to take her veil from home so someone had to get it for her, which took a while and poor Elmisch was already waiting at the "first look" spot, getting more and more nervous by the minute.
Finally Miriam was ready to see Elmisch for the first time. Lots of tears and emotions, so beautiful to see. Jada didn't understand at all why her parents were crying.
We did the shoot at Jack Zoon Tuincreaties and luckily the weather was awesome! After this we were on our way to Castricum were they were getting married at Hotel Het Oude Raadhuis. This was the most emotional ceremony I have ever been to and it almost had me crying as well(ok I might have shed a tear or two behind my camera). Gospel Choir For-Tune was singing : "All my Life" from KC and Jo-Jo when Miriam walked in with her dad. There was not one dry eye in the room. Big men letting their emotions go, almost did it for me. It still gives me chills when I think about it, so much love for them, I felt it all day long but especially during the ceremony.
After the group shots we went to Bob's Party & events were the diner and party would be held. Miriam and Elmisch gave Liesbeth and me some time off to get some diner ourselves and when we were done it was time for a party......And boy what a party it was. Miriam and Elmisch did their opening dance and after champagne and Cake, which Miriam made all by herself, it was on! From young to old every one was on the dance floor dancing their butts off, it was crazy but sooooo good!!!! These people know how to party I tell ya! Loved every minute of it!
And then it was time to go and I left with a big smile knowing they had the best day ever.
Here is an impression of their day(warning: photo overload as I simple can't pick which ones to show you):
***I just LOVE this blue picture, it is totally a "Jay-Z" moment for me***
A weddingday I will not forget for a long time!
Elmisch and Miriam and little Jada I wish you a lifetime together with lots of love and happiness!
Thank you for letting me capture your wedding!
