Of course you can't go to London and not do any sightseeing right? We shopped, had great diners(yes it was my eatweek, yeah!) and walked a lot to different things to see. I took more photos with my Canon but here is an impression:
Had diner here our first night, the man who sold us the tickets for the musical said we could best go here as it is next to the theater. We had such a laugh there because it was packed and Liesbeth sat next to a elderly lady who was waisted and we couldn't understand what she was saying except for the " Fuck you too" part she said to a man who said "Hello beautiful" to her. I thought Liesbeth choked on her salad when she heard that, too funny.
We went to see Wicked, which is my second time seeing it in London and I could easily have gone to another show because Liesbeth didn't mind, but I so love this musical i just had to see it again. This time we had some very good seats and for a really good prize I must say :)
The next day was our workshop(a post of that will be on my photography blog later on, be sure to check it out as well)
So on our last day we did more shopping and sightseeing. Liesbeth wanted to get on the London Eye pretty badly. I am so afraid of heights you have no idea, but knowing how much she wanted to go up there I went along with her, swallowing my fear. I did get dizzy a few times but as long as I held my camera before my eyes and look through the lens at the view and taking photos I was alright.
photos of the view I only took them with my canon...shoot :(
Big ben and the London Eye on the background
People demonstrating against Obama and the war...this should have told us something...
We walked through St. James's park because we wanted to see the Buckingham Palace as well. So we were almost there when we saw all these international TV stations and such in front of the park:
Mhhhhh? So I walked towards one of them and asked why they were all here. Apparently Obama was in London(which has been in all newspapers and on tv and such) and would come to the Buckingham Palace in a few hours.
We had to eat
We drank a lot of water...a lot!
and Liesbeth had to go to Starbucks as well :)
Of all this drinking we also had to:
This is the street our Hotel was on
Wonderful hotel BTW
At the airport again in my new A&F jacket :)
Well that was London in a quick few trough my i-phone, hope you liked it, I know I certainly have.
In a few weeks from now we will be in Barcelona and I am for sure doing this again with my i-phone.
