Yesterday was my birthday. It started out good with presents from my kids that they picked out themselves which made it that more special because they really put effort in it to find something that was so me, loved it!
I didn't wanted to really celebrate it and had nothing planned for that day, just wanted it to be calm and nothing special. So when someone asked me that morning if I felt it was my birthday I said no. Little did I know my day was just getting started and boy was I wrong.
All day long I got text messages, calls, comments here and on my dutch Hyves site, which made me really happy. Than while walking the dog with my neighbor she mentioned she made me a homemade apple pie.
Later that day another friend of mine called to say she wanted to come by to drop off a small cake that she made.....which was nothing small! A HUGE cake with 4 layers of different cream, soooooooo good!
Another friend called me to ask if she could drop of a little something, loved it monique!
Than DH came home to surprise me with a bouquet of 35 roses
And a sweet card.
In the evening my parents came by and a few other people surprised me with a visit as well. So if someone would have asked me again that evening if it felt like I was celebrating my birthday my answer would be YES! Again than you all for making me feel special yesterday.

haha, i FORGOT also. looks like everybody is busy busy busy with the busy december month coming on right? i LOVE THOSE CAKES. yum yum. and those roses, WOW.
