The life of a Dutch scrapper

So sad....

I just looked at all the photo's ED could save and I didn't know I had so many pics with other people in it than my family :( So dissapointing to see those over and over again while you are hoping to find family pics of you and the kids in Italy on vacation, their birthdays( I am missing 2008 and 2009 from Jadenn and 2008 from Anthony :(, special memories with just me the kids and DH......instead you find a LOT of NKOTB pictures, circus photo's, a million pictures of Storm that my sister already has on DVD, a lot of pics of my pregnant sister, my sisters babyshower, all of which she also has already, 50 pics of a pregnant Amber Ulmer( love you amber :), Pics of other family's that I took(Florence I still found a lot of them!, etc, etc. So I am sad this morning, missing my pics with Céline, my Napels trip, My family vacation to Italy, Sinterklaas where the kids got Issi our dog, Christmas, I can go on and on, but I am just sad.

Also lost a lot of exspensive photoshop actions and textures that I bought over the years, have non of those anymore :(

Don't get me wrong I am VERY grateful that Ed found so many things back and I am VERY happy with the ones he did recover that my kids are on, but I am just am sad this morning because the reality has sunk in that I lost almost everything of 2008(almost all my found pics are from 2009).

Storm has arrived :)

He is staying at my moms house for a few days, yeah! tomorrow I will do a little photoshoot with him.
 
He is just such a happy child, love him!

My muscles are doing better, still a bit sore, but better.

I have been behind my sowing machine, making cute clothes for my blythes. I also have been printing pictures to scrap so be patient they are coming :)

Yesterday I got the new Creatief met Foto's magazine and it was a nice surprise to be on the cover again with a lo of Anthony and Jadenn. I think it will be in stores a week from now, check it out!

Stuck with no sleep

I am stuck. My shoulders and below my neck, it is stuck. Can hardly move. Nice.
You would think I couldn't sleep of that but no it was the thunder and lightning that was going on all night that kept us all awake. Around two-ish the kids woke up and screaming after a very closeby BANG! So they crawled into our bed with us. Our bed is no kingzise bed, let's keep it with that, so I was hanging on the side of my bed on the last cm of the matrass. After one hour(or was it two?) it was getting quiter I slept in Jadenn's bed. Everything is still stuck and I need sleep!

I guess my body has something to say to me.

PS: On a lighter note, Ed has recovered 6000 photo's from my harddrive and some other stuff so I am happy to have at least some of it back.

Relaxing

Or at least that is what I am trying to do the past few weeks. I feel like I need a change and in order to know how and in what direction I need to take a few steps back. Things have not been good with me. I went to see my NEI therapist again for my second session and I got a LOT of answers, answers that I so needed to get forward again in life. I have to come back in 10 weeks from now and I am curious on how I would be feeling than. I already feel different, not so sad anymore. So maybe that is why it has been quite on my blog, not much scrapping going on and such(although I must say I feel that the need to scrap is coming back :). I try to listen to what my body needs and right now it is saying to relax, no pressure and this time I listen.

Yesterday my niece came by with her two lovely kids Joy and Zoëlle. She wanted me to take some pictures of the girls so I did :)

Seriously bawled my eyes out and watched these last minutes over and over again. Why do we have to wait for a few months before the next season starts again, do not think I can take it that long!

Please vote for my sisters baby Storm to be the baby of the year HERE . Storm is such a happy little fellow now. It was a scary time not too long ago but now he is doing fine and is laughing all the time.

Spoiled rotten

I woke up early, slept some more and suddenly heard Anthony ask me if they could come up around 7. Since their  dad had been working till late the other day I said that they could play a bit and come in an hour so daddy could sleep a bit longer, which they did. So at 8 DH walked the dog and than came upstairs again with the kids with an armload of presents. I loved their handmade presents so much! Anthony made a vase with a bouquete of flowers in it with a sweet card that said lieve mamma(sweet mamma) and jadenn made a picture frame with a cool picture from him in it hanging upside down(on the heart it said: mamma ik ben ondersteboven van jou which is a Dutch saying when you really like someone.

In the morning we went to see my mom, the kids made here some paintings on canvas which she loved.
In the afternoon Ray went with Anthony to AZ to see the last soccergame and Jadenn and I went to see my grandma. When they got back we went out to diner, which was nice.

That is a bit how I am feeling but it is also the name of a documentary by Micheal Moore that I watched the other day. Seriously I was in shock and appalled at the American way to deal with health insurance, I had no idea it was that bad. If you haven't seen it check it out it opened my eyes and I pray that one day it will change so everyone has acces to free health care.

Also just watched the last episode of Greys and was crying all the way....I so hope they do not let her die(people who watch it will know who I am talking about)

AND....I also did some scrapbooking, I think my mojo is officially back.
