The life of a Dutch scrapper

you know what. I can not for the life in me get motivated to do anything scrapbookingwise. So what have I been up too:

Have been putting all my programs back on my computer, still missing a lot, like all my actions and fonts.
I got my computer, didn't even went near Martijn or else I would have attacked him for sure. Made them put a new HD in my computer so I could take the old one to Ed and walked away not paying the bill of 280 Euro.

So for the rest of this weekend I have been editing photo's of a Hotel that I took, that they needed on Monday for advertisment. Porbably have to do 2 more hotels as well, which was fun.

Starting to get to know my new camera a bit better and loving it more and more.

Got 3 blythe dolls in the past few weeks, first one is Sky, she has wings(which I already broke two off)
 
 
 
Next is Willow, a Blythe doll that I customized myself:
 
And last but not least is Joy, a customized dark skin Blythe that I also customized myself a bit by giving her new hair and a new lip paint and new eyechips:
 
Oh and Viper got new lips as well:
 
And did I tell you Vipe ris a HUGE AZ-fan(dutch soccer team) and she was soooo happy that they won!:
 
And April got new glasses:
 
So I now have 5 Blythe dolls and my DH thinks I am crazy, but i just love playing with them. I always was a girly girl that had so many Barbies and such, always was designing and making my own clothes, cutting their hair, when I was a little girl. I guess I miss having a girl in the house :)

Tonight I will be in the city snooping around people's second hands stuff because it is the night before Queensday tomorrow and hopefully I will score. If anyone bump into a Blythe doll please buy her for me :), I am going to look myself as well, you never know right :)

it is all gone....

***edited: I did make back-ups only it was a while ago. So I never backed up my pics since 2007 till now nor did I backed up my bussinessfiles and other wordfiles and such. The day before it crashed I backed up my photo's from 2007 but than that HD was full so I couldn't get 2008 and 2009 on there, which are the 50.000 plus pics)***

Unbelievable, just unbelievable......All my files are gone....everything from the last few years is gone. I am crying my eyes out and am about to kill someone, no not someone, Martijn from MYCom that is. He told me that he had succeeded to copy all my files to an external harddrive the beginning of this week. And called me yesterday that he found the real problem which was my D-Drive. He said there was some data on there and the only thing he could do to make my computer work was to delete it all. So I asked him again if my documents were all on the extrernal hardrive and he said yes. SO I told him that I never have backed anything up on my D-Drive and never use it so he could delete all that was on there. He just called me to tell me that apparently on my D-Drive were my documents and now it was all gone. Everything, my photo's(at least 50.000), my invoices, everything, EVERYTHING!!!!
He told me he could run a program over it to see if he could recover something. I told him NOT to do anything untill I called with Danielle husband. I would call him back in a sec. So I called Ed who tells me to get it right away and thay can't do anything with it anymore. After they are back from their holliday he will try to see how much he can get back from it. SO I called Mycom again and UNBELIEVABLE Martijn is telling me that he already got some files back(which means he just started running the programme which I told him NOT to do untill I called him back) SO I snapped and he said he will shut it down right away. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! So I am freaking out here, just freaking out you have no idea, ...no idea. Please pray that Ed can recover most of it, I can't even think of having lost everything for good.

AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!

***edited: my bank just called me to inform me they tried to commit fraude on my creditcard, luckily it was only one dollar, so they blocked my creditcard and I can cut mine into pieces......what is the universe telling me for heavens sake!!!!*** oh and the computer guy also called, I can be very lucky if I can pick it up tomorrow evening, have to call them at 5.

So they told me I could pick up my computer after 2, so I was there at 3. "No sorry we are still working on it" is what he said when I came in. Say what?!!! Ever heard of a phone????!!!! They could at least have given me a call so I didn't had to drag myself and my kids to the store. So when will it be ready than??!! well I hope before 6 today, but I think tomorrow.............I was about to explode at this point. How late tomorrow morning I asked. No not in the morning because no-one will be here in the morning we start at 1..................I seriously could cry at this point and I still feel this way even it is now one hour later.

Today!

I will get my computer back! The could recover all my files and make a back-up of it on my new harddrive, but...Everything else is taken off my computer, which means all my programs :(

Luckily I have a few friends who are helping me out by handing me some programma's that I need to have in order to work. So hopefully by tomorrow I will be back. I did loose all my favorites, which was a lot! They did saved all my emails, which I am so thankfull for.

So having not been able to do anything workwise I have a few HUGE deadlines to work on ASAP as soon as my computer is back at full swing.

Yesterday I spend the whole day in a hotel taking photo's of the rooms and such for their website and advertisment. If they work out ok, I will have to do it for one of there other hotels as well :)
I have to say I was so tired afterwards, never expected that.

Ok off to clean my room a bit and than off to buy some new summerclothes, cause I do not fit any of my clothes from last year......can you hear the song: "Big girls"?...well not feeling all to beautiful, but I can't be walking around in my winter gear when it is so warm these last days.

I talked with DH about my weight and he and I do not understand why I am heavy since I do not eat to much, or overeat too much. I like nice food but do not eat too much of it I think. I feel like my whole system is not working correctly. One thing I know is that I do not move to much, so I started to change that last week by walking the dog an hour everyday. I talked with Monique and I said that I will go walk the 60 kilometers with her in October for A Sisters Hope....what was I thinking, lol. I am going to try to do this, make this a goal, for myself and for a good cause.

still no

computer :(

Just called the store that were going to repair it, but apparently they haven't even started, aaargh!!! told them both me and DH have our own bussiness and we need it back soon and they first told me I probally could pick it up before the weekend, now I have to be happy if it is going to be tuesday.....I am not happy....at all!

So today is such an important day, 1. Anthony has his Birthday party. With 6 kids we are going to snowplanet where they will get a snowboard lesson of an hour. hopefully all arms and legs remain the way the are...intact.

2. AZ the soccerteam from the place were I life can become the Champions tonight. I so wanted to go with DH to the game but he was set up by the man who he share's a seat with(they have 3 seats in total) and now I can't go :(, but I will watch it from home and scream my longs out when they win.

Two of my three Blythe dolls have arrived yesterday and I am in Blythe heaven. I am in LOVE with my fairy blythe, she has wings and the most gorgeous hair. I can't wait to show my new girls to you.

Lovely weather today...but we will be very cold at snowworld :)

Anyway...

I still have acces to the internet by my son's computer, although not the fastest one there is, it will do for now. I just brought mine to the computerstore where they hope to fix it. I hope to get it back before the weekend or else after.

Ok I will give you an update but without the pictures.

First of all why haven't I been posting for such a long time? Well I have a hard time getting back into the everyday live after my event and also the birthdays of the kids are in this month. It is actually Anthony's birthday today and he turned 10!!!! Jadenn turned 6 two weeks ago and I celebrated both birthdays on the 5th for family. Also both kids were sick and Jadenn was sick on his birthday, poor kid. He couldn't smile one time during the day, not even when he got his presents. the next day he had his party and only trew up twice at the indoorplayground and he told me it was a great party :)

In the evening he had to walk hand in hand with one of the soccerplayers from AZ(this years champions, well almost :)onto the soccerfield. I took photo's and we also watched the game which we won with 4-1.

So business all around. I find it hard to focus when it is too busy and tend to go into freeze mode. My scraproom was too messy again and this time i am organizing it all over again and seriously am almost doing everything away, giving it to a good cause(A sisters Hope). I want to have more space for other crafts and materials like paint and fabrics and such, stuff I have enough off but never got a good place.

What else is new? well...........I got a new camera :)

A Canon 5D Mark II, yes I actually bought that baby and I LOVE IT!!! shooting in full frame is what I always wanted. Also got a new lens to go with it 24-70 f.2.8 From Canons L-serie, what a beauty that is as well..........so now I am broke :), but it was worth it.

ALso got three more Blythe dolls which makes the total of 5............have to tell myself not to go on ebay anymore. I soon will show you the beauties that come to live in my house.

So now with my computer not being here i am going to scrapbook and organise my room a bit more.

hopefully soon I will be able to ad pictures again.

is what I said and more when i couldn't get into my own computer this morning. So I am now typing from Anthony's computer so afraid I can't get all my data and stuff from my own computer anymore. Irronically I bought a HUGE(2TB) harddrive just the other day to get all my important files on there.I planned on doing that today.....and now I can't get into my computer anymore, microsoft is blocking it because of safety reasons(I think I got an virus), HATE THIS!!!!

So pray for me people can somehow fix it enough for me to get my important stuff from it.

Tomorrow when I have a little bit more time I try to do a little photoshoot with the two sisters.

I so badly wanted to make something myself for my dolls, like a dress or something like that, because I have so much cute fabric that I never used. So I just tried out today, no idea if I was doing it right or not, just gave it a go. Did the sleeves all wrong the first time, but my mom told me how to do it and this is how my first outfit turned out:
 
 
All I can say is that I am so darn proud of myself :)
