Wanda en Floris | Lovebirds Photography

Sometimes when people let you in, magic can happen. Little over a year ago Wanda got a photoshoot from Floris as a birthday present. I think 8 months later they contacted me and she had decided to, not only have her photos taken, but also she wanted photos with the love of her life Floris. They asked me what a lovebirds shoot meant. I send them a few links to blogs with photos and ideas that I love just to get their heads open for all the possibilities that we could do. They were leaving to Miami for a vacation and when they were back she called me that she knew what they would wanted to do for their shoot. She also told me that while being in Miami seeing lots of different scenery they said more then once, "Oh that would make an awesome photoshoot location, I wish Corinne was here now". That made me laugh out loud as she never met me, we only talked by phone but loved that she was looking through my eyes.

She told me she loves reading and that she wanted to have her photos taking in a library. We talked some more and all of the sudden the name of a small bookstore came up. I got excited right away as I love that store. I told her I would check, both the libary and the bookstore out to see what would be better for the shoot. I went to the libary, had one look and was out the door again. Went straight for the bookstore and fell in love right away, this was it!

So we finally met and it was time to go to the bookstore. Here is a brief impression on what we did:









So during the shoot Wanda and Floris told me more about their story, which is far from easy and how their love pulled them through very difficult times. The photoshoot was for them a new beginning, a celebration of their love for each other. I felt thankfull and blessed that they wanted to share this private part of their life with me and it made the session for them and for me even more special and meaningfull. I love my job!
