Today it was Carnaval on my youngest son's school. Jadenn doesn't like to dress up in weird costumes except with Carnaval. Last year he was a crocodile and this year he is a shark. I bought this costume last September when I was in the USA and when I saw it I knew I needed to buy it for Jadenn. And doesn't he look cute??!!!
I was born in the east of the Netherlands and we celebrated Carnaval big time for 3 days straight. Here in the west it is just an afternoon and I can't call it a party or such, just dressing up and doing some games and such. I might take my kids to Oldenzaal next year so they can see the parade and have a real Carnaval experience.
